VH1 Acquires 'Happy Endings' Reruns, Will Marathon Show Over New Year's
Happy Endings is coming back to TV … just not in the form of new episodes.
On Tuesday, Entertainment Weekly reported that VH1 had acquired all 57 episodes of Happy Endings and would begin airing the show on Wednesdays in 2014. In the meantime, VH1 will run a Happy Endings marathon at 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve. If you love the show, ignore your friends over New Year's Eve and watch Happy Endings instead. Of course, if any of your friends don't already love Happy Endings, pester them to watch the marathon with you. Also, if they don't like the show, why are they still your friends?
Is this a step in the direction of getting Happy Endings back? Probably not. Damon Wayans Jr. is most likely returning full-time to New Girl, and many of the castmembers have already committed to other projects. It's a nice move by VH1 though, unlike those bastards at ABC and USA Network. Never forget.
Happy Endings will begin airing on VH1 on Jan. 8, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m.
