Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson in Talks to Join 'Mission: Impossible 5'

Alec Baldwin is going to have to take a break from yelling at paparazzi and fellow Twitter users long enough to yell at Tom Cruise. According to Variety, the actor is in talks to join Mission: Impossible V. Variety reports that Baldwin's role would be "a high-ranking CIA officer who oversee Cruise’s division, similar to the role Laurence Fishburne had in Mission: Impossible III."

In addition to Baldwin, The White Queen star Rebecca Ferguson is also in negotiations for Mission: Impossible 5's female lead. While Cruise and director Christopher McQuarrie originally wanted Jessica Chastain for the role, the Zero Dark Thirty actress was unable to commit to the role. Variety reports that Ferguson's White Queen schedule would allow her to devote the necessary time for training and shooting on Mission: Impossible V.

Mission: Impossible V is set to hit theaters on Dec. 25, 2015.
