Judd Apatow Destroyed Bill Cosby on THE TONIGHT SHOW

Judd Apatow took The Tonight Show into awkward territory last night. The Trainwreck director performed a rare standup set at the end of the show, and he closed it out with a bit attacking Bill Cosby.



Apatow has been on a crusade against Cosby for months now, calling out anyone who defended the comedian in the face of charges that Cosby drugged and raped over 40 women over decades.

Cosby hasn't been on The Tonight Show since his career imploded, but before that, he was a frequent guest on Jimmy Fallon's shows.

A lot of us were fans of Cosby before these allegations came to light (you can read old Popculturology articles about Cosby and Fallon to see that I was guilty of this too), but it always seemed like Cosby and Fallon were actual friends.

When Apatow finished his Tonight Show set on Monday, Fallon wasn't his usual enthusiastic self. Did Apatow's Cosby jokes strike a nerve with the usually giddy late-night host?
