Did Mindy Kaling Accidentally Reveal That Steve Carell Will Appear in the Final Season of 'The Office'?

Early Tuesday morning (or late Monday night if you're not on the East Coast), former The Office castmember Mindy Kaling sent a tweet to current The Office castmember Jenna Fischer saying, "I heard our old friend paid you guys a visit today." Kaling, who currently stars on Fox's The Mindy Project, could have been talking about any of the many guest stars The Office has had over the show's nine seasons, but here's where it gets interesting though.

That tweet doesn't exist on Kaling's Twitter page anymore. I have a screenshot of it after the jump, but you won't find it on her own page. Did Kaling mean to send Fischer a direct message but accidentally tweeted instead? And if Kaling quickly removed the tweet, why would she do so? Who could their old friend be?
