TRAILER: Agent Coulsen Lives On on Television Thanks to 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

Not just content with dominating the movies, Marvel is ready to bring their superheroes to TV. ABC gave Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. the green light this past week (which isn't hard to do when Disney owns both Marvel and ABC), and director Joss Whedon debuted the first trailer for the series on Twitter Sunday night.

Clark Gregg returns (from the dead) as Agent Phil Coulsen, leading a team of secret agents. In addition to Gregg, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennett, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge and J. August Richards (who may or may not be playing Luke Cage). It's going to be very cool watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe on television. How long until Iron Man or Captain America stops by for a visit?

Head past the jump to watch the first trailer for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
