A 'Happy Endings' Movie? Damon Wayans Jr. Wants Some Kind of Reunion

Damon Wayans Jr. returned to TV on Tuesday, reprising the role of Coach on New Girl. While a lot of his fans wish Wayans was still playing Brad on Happy Endings, it was still great to see Coach again.

Wayans was previously in just New Girl's pilot, having to drop out of the show after Happy Endings got a surprise second-season pickup a few years ago. After Happy Endings got canceled (WHY, TV GODS, WHY?), Wayans and Jake Johnson got the ball rolling on having Coach return to the New Girl loft. Hopefully Wayans can stick around longer than just an episode or two.

While talking with E! Online about how his return to New Girl came to be, Wayans told the website how much he wanted to get the Happy Endings gang back together.

Wayans says the cast has remained close and he's dying to do some kind of Happy Endings movie/reunion/final run to wrap up the story lines. "I would love to do anything with that!" he says, adding that the format almost doesn't even matter since he and his former costars have so much fun working together. "We'll even just come to your living room and act it out."

So we know that we can't trust USA Network when it comes to helping make a Happy Endings reunion happen. They already let us down once, and I just can't let them break our hearts again. Netflix? Hulu? Someone make this happen.
