Cobie Smulders In Talks to Join JACK REACHER Sequel
Cobie Smulders has already held her own against some of cinema's biggest superheroes. Her next mission will be to do the same against one of cinema's biggest movie stars: Tom Cruise. Smulders is in talks to join the upcoming Jack Reacher sequel, according to TheWrap.
The site reported last week that the How I Met Your Mother and Avengers actress "has landed the coveted role of Danika, though character details remain under wraps." Rosamund Pike was the female lead in the first Jack Reacher movie.
The Jack Reacher sequel, which will be based on author Lee Child's Never Go Back, will be helmed by The Last Samurai director Ed Zwick. The movie doesn't have a release date at this point.
