Matt Damon Brings Life to Mars in New THE MARTIAN Trailer

A new trailer for The Martian debuted on Wednesday morning. The Ridley Scott-directed and Matt Damon-starring adaption of the bestselling novel continues to look awesome and deserve its place among the most anticipated films of 2015.

When I was on vacation two weeks ago, I started reading The Martian. I thought it would be a leisurely read over a few days at the beach. I wound up being unable to put the book down, instead starting it in the afternoon and finishing it by noon the next day. Fantastic book, and I'm now even more eager to see the movie.

The Martian opens on Oct. 2. The movie stars Damon, Jessica Chastain, Michael Pena, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, Donald Glover, Kate Mara, Sean Bean, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sebastian Stan and Aksel Hennie.
