No News Is Bad News When It Comes to the Fate of 'Happy Endings'

Happy Endings isn't dead yet ... but things don't look promising. After USA Network broke our hearts by refusing to pickup the sitcom, there hasn't been much news in terms of the show's fate. There have been rumblings that Hulu or NBC would swoop in and save the day, but no one has stepped up to be our hero so far.

On Wednesday, TVLine reported that Sony has until the end of the week to find a savior for Happy Endings, as the contractual hold the studio has on the show's cast will expire then. Unfortunately, "sources confirm that there are no serious offers on the table — broadcast, cable, streaming or otherwise — to keep the show alive." Crap.
