SNL PROMOS: Martin Freeman and Kate McKinnon Unleash the One Ring

It's Saturday Night Live promo time again. Martin Freeman is hosting this weekend, so NBC paired the Hobbit star with SNL castmember Kate McKinnon and set them loose in the SNL studio.



Freeman definitely has the acting chops to pull off an SNL hosting gig, but is he well known enough to draw in audiences? Sure, he's the star of The Hobbit trilogy, but Freeman's not exactly recognizable going from playing Bilbo to his regular look. Something about missing those giant hobbit feet.

Expect a Hobbit sketch when Freeman hosts SNL this weekend.
