THE LEAGUE Renewed for Seventh and Final Season
The League will make one final run at the Shiva. FXX announced on Monday that it had renewed the show for a seventh and last season.
"Our gang can burn a beach house like Calvin Johnson on a secondary but I shudder to think what they’ll do in the final battle for the Shiva," FX Networks and FX Productions President of Original Programming Nick Grad said. "The real studs here are the fans who have remained so loyal to the show over the years, including the move to FXX, and for them we are going out on top."
It's hard to believe The League has already been on the air for sixth seasons. Like its FXX counterpart It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the show has flown under the radar, rewarding the diehard fans who know about The League with an increasingly absurd series.
The League will return for its final 13-episode season in fall 2015. The show stars Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Stephen Rannazzisi, Paul Scheer, Jon Lajoie and Katie Aselton.
