LEGO Announces BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Sets Coming in 2016

It's a busy day for LEGO superheroes. We learned this morning that LEGO and Marvel Studios were partnering on Captain America: Civil War sets that will hit stores in 2016. LEGO announced on Wednesday that DC Comics will be getting in on the superpowered action too — Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice sets are on the way in 2016.

LEGO and Warner Bros. produced Man of Steel sets when the Superman reboot hit theaters a few years ago, so sets based on Batman v Superman is the logical next step. We've already seen Henry Cavill's Superman in LEGO form, and the toymaker currently produces sets with Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman in them. The Batman v Superman sets will gives us versions based on Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa's takes on the superheroes.
