TRAILER: Tom Cruise and Morgan Freeman Face 'Oblivion'

The first trailer for Oblivion, the upcoming sci-fi film directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Tom Cruise, hit the Internet on Saturday. It seems like this might be a leaking trailer, especially taking the subtitles into consideration. (UPDATE: Universal now has the trailer officially online.) That aside, Oblivion looks very interesting.

Set 60 years after humans won a war against alien invaders but saw Earth rendered inhabitable in the process, Cruise plays a man who does some kind of drone work on Earth. He's captured by a band of survivors led by Morgan Freeman's character. I'd also like to point out that Cruise's character is wearing a Yankees hat just like his War of the Worlds character did. I'm going to pretend they're the same character.

In addition to Cruise and Freeman, Oblivion also stars Olga Kurylenko and Melissa Leo. The film is set to hit theaters on April 12, 2013. Check out the trailer after the jump.
