Does Harrison Ford Love Scotch? Let's Hope So, Since He's Joined the 'Anchorman' Sequel's Cast
While we're still waiting to hear officially whether or not Harrison Ford joins Star Wars: Episode VII, news broke on Monday that the man who made both Han Solo and Indiana Jones famous will be joining another much-anticipated sequel. Break out the scotch, since Ford has signed on for a role in Anchorman: The Legend Continues. From The Hollywood Reporter:
Ford will play a legendary newscaster a la Tom Brokaw in the Adam McKay-helmed comedy, which begins shooting this month in Atlanta. He previously played an anchorman in the film Morning Glory, the 2010 comedy produced by J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk.Ford joins Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate and David Koechner (all returning from 2004's Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) along with Kristen Wiig, who's new to the franchise. Anchorman: The Legend Continues hits theaters on Dec. 20, 2013.
