Adam Sandler Fights Pac-Man and Kevin James Kills a Smurf in New PIXELS Trailer

You know that episode of South Park where Stan just sees and hears everything as crap? Like, everything sounds like a fart noise? That's all I heard while watching the new trailer for Pixels.



Pixels is the latest Adam Sandler movie, so we've already set the bar low. Throw in Kevin James, and we're scraping the bottom of the cinematic barrel. The concept for Pixels is pretty cool: Aliens intercepted transmission videogames from Earth, accidentally thought they were hostile messages and then attacked Earth with real-life versions of those videogame characters.

Unfortunately that concept is ruined by the addition of Sandler and James. At least Sandler is saving racism toward Native Americans for his next project.

Pixels hits theaters on July 25. The movie stars Sandler, James, Peter Dinklage, Josh Gad, Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cox and Ashley Benson.
