FULL HOUSE Netflix Revival Looking to Cast Danny Tanner's Wife and Kimmy Gibbler's Ex-Husband

When Full House returns with a series on Netflix next year, the Tanner family is going to have a few new members. TVLine reported on Thursday that Fuller House, the revival series, is looking to cast Danny Tanner's wife, Teri, and Kimmy Gibbler's ex-husband, Fernando.

TVLine describes Teri as a "40-year-old African-American woman described as 'attractive, vivacious … and youthful' [who] also apparently has 'quite an appetite for Danny and isn't afraid to shower him with affection.'" Fernando is described as a man with "'quite an appetite' for the opposite sex, which is partially why he and Kimmy are no longer together. That said, he's 'relentless' in his attempts to reunite with his ex-wife, and he maintains a close relationship with their daughter Ramona."

Guys, I'm just not sure about Fuller House. From the idea that just calling the revival "Fuller House" because DJ married a guy with the last name Fuller is too convenient to these new character descriptions, things don't sound right. Is it supposed to be funny that Danny has a borderline nympho wife? This was never the show that Full House was.
