TRAILER: Will Charlie Sheen Give a Winning Performance in 'A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III'?

There's a good chance that you've forgotten that Charlie Sheen, the man behind "tiger blood" and "winning," was once a movie star. Roles in films like Platoon, Wall Street and Major League made Sheen a rich man and an in-demand actor. After his epic meltdown last year though, Sheen has been relegated to his FX show, Anger Management, and Scary Movie installments.

Sheen appears to be interested in getting back into making real films now, starring in A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. The film is directed by Roman Coppola, the son of Francis Ford Coppola. A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III also stars Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman (who were both in Moonrise Kingdom), giving the film a very Wes Anderson feel. This shouldn't be a surprise, as the younger Coppola is also a frequent Anderson collaborator, with the two writing Moonrise Kingdom together.

The film centers on a graphic designer, played by Sheen, whose life begins to fall apart after his girlfriend breaks up with him. He eventually begins to suffer nightmares as he becomes unable to recollect himself. I'm assuming the cowboy outfits are a part of those nightmares.

A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III stars Sheen, Murray, Schwartzman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Aubrey Plaza. It hits theaters on Feb. 8, 2013. Check out the film's first trailer after the jump.
