The first trailer for the Goosebumps movie debuted on Wednesday, and all your favorite characters from the books are here: Slappy, the giant praying mantis, those lawn gnomes. (I'm still hoping monster blood and a haunted mask or two make an appearance in the movie.)

Goosebumps opens on Oct. 16. The movie stars Jack Black, Dylan Minnette, Odeya Rush, Amy Ryan, Ryan Lee, Ken Marino and Jillian Bell.
